NET CONTROL PROCEDURES

GET ON THE AIR (7.240 MHZ)AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE TO ESTABLISH THE NET FREQUENCY
NET CONTROLLERS SHOULD OPEN THE NET WITH THE FOLLOWING PREAMBLE:
"This is the 7.240 club on 7.240 MHZ(plus or minus qrm)
The 7.240 club is a service net.Our purpose is to assist those wishing to contact other stations or
areas,to provide weather and travel information whenever needed,if available and to assist in
emergencies,if and when they arise.
You do not have to be a member to participate, All stations,which are licensed on this frequency,are welcome
We do not normally handle formal traffic,but individual stations may do so by moving their
traffic off the net frequency.At their own discretion.
The 7.240 club is in operation each day Monday through Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00
P.M.noon (Eastern Standard Time)with swap and shop items accepted on Saturdays net.

at the beginning of each list
